At Saradambal Srinivasa Mudaliar Memorial Padasala, we offer a protected place for children to learn and grow.

Affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Saradambal Srinivasa Mudaliar Memorial Padasala is a school for children who come from economically weaker sections of the country. We provide secondary education to children from LKG all through the 10th standard. We also have various scholarship schemes to support the relentless efforts of students to excel in all fields.

Who We Are

Most often the choices we make have a great impact on our future and hence it is very important that we pick our choices with care. Best choices often come with expensive price tags and unfortunately common man is deprived of its benefits. Education is every child’s birth right but lack of affordability compels the child to settle for second best choices. At Saradambal this tight knot of a problem can be undone with ease. World class education at its affordable best is offered to every craving child.

The ‘silence’ that grows from noise has its roots in noise. A majority of the student population do not acquire good schooling because their parents cannot afford to send them to good schools.

The school is deeply committed to preserving Indian cultural heritage while preparing students for the global stage. The curriculum and activities blend tradition and modernity in a unique and powerful way: Sanskrit Classes and Bhagavad Gita Chanting instils spiritual and ethical grounding. Mantra Recitation, Yoga, and Meditation sessions promote inner peace, focus, and discipline. Cultural Events honour festivals, arts, and Indian values, ensuring students grow up with pride in their identity. At the same time, students engage in project-based learning, use digital tools, and participate in inter-school academic contests – bridging the ancient with the modern.

Our History

Legacy & Founding

SARADAMBAL SRINIVASA MUDALIAR MEMORIAL PADASALA (CBSE) has been instituted in memory of Shri Srinivasa Mudaliar and Shrimati Saradambal, known for their philanthropic vision. Spearheaded under the banner of the Saradambal Srinivasa Mudaliar Charitable Trust, the school functions under the guidance of Shri. T. Ranjendiran and Shri. D. Manoharan as trustees.

Purpose

With strong infrastructure and sufficient funds, the Trust provides inclusive and quality education to children from all sections of society with a low and inexpensive fee structure. By nurturing young minds with quality education, we inspire a positive shift in living standards and prosperity at large.

Located in the heart of Vellore, Tamil Nadu, our school serves as a sanctuary for learning and personal transformation. Under the dedicated stewardship of the Trust, we are committed to providing free, holistic, and values-driven education to underprivileged children. By offering tuition-free schooling from LKG through Class X, we ensure that education remains a fundamental right rather than a privilege.

Financial Stewardship

Over the past four years, the Trust has utilized ₹6 crores from its endowment to cover operational deficits resulting from low fees and full scholarships for 185 children. Moving forward, the Trust aims to scale this impact by expanding its scholarship program to support approximately 300 children.
